　　AsaChinese,weshouldallknowthehumiliationoftheChinesenation.Asisknowntoall,thereisamagnificentpalaceinthehistoryofChinese:theoldSummerPalace.Itismadeoffiveemperorsbymorethan150yearsofpainstakingefforts,setalargenumberofmaterials,useofthecountlessskillfulcraftsman,investedonemillionpeoplework,builtinthemagnificentpalace.Inxianfengdecade,however,theg8coalitioninvadedtheoldSummerPalace,theydoeverythingforthreedaysintheoldSummerPalace,andlootedeverywhere,brutal,eventuallyafireburnedtheyuanmingyuan.TheSummerPalacethisworld-famouspalaceburiedinflames.FromthisthingIrealized,theweaknessofacountryandbackwardnessismustbebeaten.

　　Recallthepast,andlookatnow.Pastthatpedanticqinggovernmenthasnowistheprosperityofthenation,thedoorisourancestorsfought,theirreturn,thefive-starredredflageverytime,myinthemindisveryproudof.

　　Inordertowebettertomorrow,wewillstudyconstructionofthemotherlandbettertomorrow.

　　大家好!

　　今天我演讲的题目是“爱国”

　　作为一个中国人，我们都应当知道中华民族的屈辱历史。众所周知，中国历史上有一处华丽的宫殿：圆明园。它是由五位皇帝经150多年的苦心经营，集大批物资，使用了无数能工巧匠，倾注了百万人的心血，建造成的华丽的宫殿。可是到了咸丰十年，八国联军侵入了圆明园，他们在圆明园中为所欲为了三天，到处烧杀抢掠、野蛮洗劫，最终还一把大火烧毁了圆明园。圆明园这座举世闻名的宫殿葬于火海。从这件事我深刻的体会到，一个国家的懦弱和落后是必定要挨打的。

　　回忆过去，再看看现在。过去那个迂腐的清政府现在已是繁荣昌盛的大国了，这都是先辈门抛头颅，洒热血换来的，每一次升起五星红旗，我心里都很自豪。

　　为了我们美好的明天，我们要好好读书建设祖国美好的明天。
